2025 Tour Information

The tours will criss-cross the neighborhood, stopping to admire both well-known spots, such as Elizabeth Park, the Governor’s Residence on Prospect Avenue, and the Connecticut Museum of Culture and History on Elizabeth Street, as well many beautiful gardens.

Attendees will have many options, as the complete tour runs from 10 am- 2 pm. Shuttle buses will drop off and pick up attendees at every location. Lelaneia will be aboard one of the buses to offer her insights into how this beauty was created.

The tour will start and end at Tangiers Food Market at the corner of Farmington Avenue and Kenyon Street. There’s plenty of free parking.

Tour participants will be free to proceed at their own pace. You can walk, take the shuttle bus or do a little of both.

Over a dozen other area stunning gardens

Lelaneia Dubay of Dubay Design will come along on this year’s Hartford Blooms Garden Tour to discuss many of the wonderful gardens and plantings in Hartford’s historic West End neighborhood.

As a designer, Lelaneia Dubay has also greatly added to the beauty of her own neighborhood, Hartford’s West End. She will discuss her designs when she serves as the tour guide of this year’s Hartford Blooms tour, which will highlight the West End.

  • Free parking at Tangiers Market, 550 Farmington Avenue, Hartford
  • Gathering Place: Westside Square, 510 Farmington Avenue. Food and beverages will be available
  • Music from renowned Jazz Guitarist Sinan Bakir, who will perform from 12 noon – 2 pm as part of the day
  • Donation: $25/person. Proceeds after expenses will go to Hartford Blooms
